Artist’s statement

As a native of Michigan, I spent my youth at Point Lookout on the shores of Saginaw Bay. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Illustration from the Ringling School Of Arts. I then completed my Master of Arts degree in Printmaking from Wayne State University.

I worked in the advertising business in Detroit for thirty years as a product illustrator. In 1982 I joined the College For Creative Studies as an Associate Professor where I taught drawing and rendering skills for thirty years.

I currently live in Michigan where I continue to pursue my creative interests.
